Terms & Conditions

By renting from Throttle Car Rentals Dubai, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions governing your use of our services, which define your rights and obligations.

Booking & Rental Agreement

By making a booking, you agree to:
• Pay all rental fees, delivery/pickup charges, Salik/toll fees, and any additional costs on time.
• Follow all UAE traffic laws and comply with these Terms & Conditions.
• Avoid any direct or indirect dealings with OFAC-sanctioned countries.

Your confirmed booking reserves the vehicle exclusively for your rental period.

Age & Driving Requirements

  • Renters must be 18 years old to rent a car in Dubai.
  • Drivers must hold a valid UAE or international driving license.
  • Additional drivers must be approved and listedin your rental contract.

Vehicle Delivery & Return

Delivery:

  • Vehicles are delivered clean, fully functional, and inspected.
  • Please verify the condition using our checklist, photos, or video.

Return:

  • Return the car in the same condition and with the same fuel level at the agreed date, time, and location.
  • Early returns are non-refundable.
  • Late returns will incur hourly or daily charges.

Operating Costs & Responsibilities

The rental fee covers the vehicle only. Customers are responsible for:

  • Fuel(return same level; missing fuel charged at market rate + service fee)
  • Salik/toll charges(AED 5 per pass + AED 1.5 service fee)
  • Parking fees, traffic fines, impound fees, government fees
  • Any other operational or incidental costs

Security Deposit & Zero-Deposit Option

  • Standard Deposit: AED 5,000 (held 21 days)
  • Zero Deposit: AED 500 non-refundable

Required Documents:

  • UAE Residents: Emirates ID + UAE License
  • Tourists: Passport + Visa + Home License / International Permit

Insurance & Liability

All Dubai car rentals include basic comprehensive insurance per UAE law.

Not covered:

  • Negligence, off-road/desert driving, drifting, racing, stunts
  • DUI or unauthorized drivers
  • Interior damage, burns, odors, spills
  • Accidents without a valid police report

Customer Responsibility:

  • You must cover full repair costs if a valid police report is not provided.
  • Optional CDW/extended insurance is only valid if purchased before your rental starts.

Accidents & Total Loss:

  • You’ll pay:
  • Insurance excess + 20% of repair costs + daily rental charges until fixed
  • Total Loss: Insurance excess + 20% of the vehicle’s insured value
  • If you’re under 25 or have <1 year of driving experience, you’ll bear full liability.

Damage, Violations & Extreme Cases

Customer is liable for:

  • Exterior & interior damage, tire/rim/windshield, mechanical damage, lost keys, or using the wrong fuel type

Extreme Violations:

  • Speeding over 140 km/his strictly prohibited.
    After 3 recorded violations, the 4th offense results in an AED 2,000 fine.
    The 5th offense leads to contract termination, vehicle disablement, and no refund.
    • Desert/off-road/drifting(Jebel Jais, Exit 55 roads): AED 100,000 + repair costs
    • Donut/reckless driving or racetrack use: AED 100,000 + repair costs
    • Unauthorized vehicle wraps/stickers/marketing: AED 100,000

Driving limit & Breakdowns

  • You’re allowed to drive 250-300 km per day; extra km will be charged separately.
  • Unlimited mileage applies only if specified in the agreement. Roadside assistance covers mechanical issues unrelated to driver negligence. Replacement vehicles are offered if the breakdown isn’t the customer’s fault, the vehicle is available, and a police report is filed.

Smoking & Cleanliness

  • No smoking or vapinginside the vehicle
  • A Cleaning fee will be charged for excessive dirt, food spills, or smoke odor.

Non-Assignment

  • No subleasing or unauthorized drivers
  • Insurance void if rules are violated

Payment, Fines & Salik

  • Payments will be made as per the agreed method and timelines Refunds follow the timelines in this agreement.
  • Traffic and parking fines, Salik tolls are the customer’s
  • Unpaid fines may be claimed for up to 1 year after rental.

Cancellation Policy

By Customer:

  • Bookings are non-refundable; customers will receive store credit for future bookings
  • If you don’t show up, you’ll lose the full amount.

By Throttle Car Rentals:

  • Full refund or alternative booking dateon cancellation due to mechanical, operational, or safety reasons  

Governing Law & Arbitration

  • Governed by UAE law
  • Disputes resolved via DIFC arbitration in English
  • Arbitration decisions are final and binding.

Cancellation Policy

By renting from us, you confirm:
• You have inspected and accepted the condition of the vehicle.
• You understand and agree to all charges, responsibilities, and policies.
• You authorize Throttle Car Rentals to recover any unpaid amounts if your deposit is insufficient.
